This is a modern play by Ivor Martinić, a young playwright from Zagreb. It depicts the lives led by Mirjana and the people around her, spending their days in slow, suffocating existence, worrying the same banal worries without much excitement or passion. Using very subtle means they manage to reveal how that sort of existence – just like our own – can be replete with beauty, sadness, humour, pain and poetry.
