The Yugoslav Drama Theatre has scheduled three new productions to open in March. The production of  Kaspar  by Peter Handke, directed by Miloš Lolić is scheduled to open on 10 th March and Offing by Branislav Nušić, directed by Egon Savin, on 21 st March. Both productions will be performed on our Ljuba Tadić stage.

The cast in the play by Nobel laureate Peter Handke Kaspar includes Miodrag Dragičević, Nikola Rakočević, Anđelika Simić, Sanja Marković, Petar Benčina and Miloš Samolov. Dramaturgy by Periša Perišić, set design by Jasmina Holbus, costume design by Maria Marković with original score composed by Nevena Glušica. When it was first published (1967) Kaspar nearly caused a revolution in the traditional understanding of writing for the stage. Today, it is not only considered one of the most important German plays of all time, but also one of the classics of 20 th century.

The cast of Offing, a play by one of the greatest national masters of comedy Branislav Nušić, includes Nenad Jezdić, Sloboda Mićalović, Ljubomir Bandović, Vesna Stanković, Nebojša Milovanović, Bojan Dimitrijević, Bojan Lazarov, Cvijeta Mesić, Jovana Belović, Marko Baćović, Maja Kolundžija Zoroe. In addition to directing, Egon Savin selected the  music and designed the set for this production. Costume design by Lana Cvijanović.

The opening of My Husband by Rumena Buzharovska, directed by Jovan Tomić, is scheduled for the end of March. This is the first time a full-length work by the renowned Macedonian prose author Rumena Buzharovska will appear in the Serbian language and the cast in the production of My Husband includes Sanja Marković and Jovana Belović. Dramaturgy by Dimitrije Kokanov, costume design by Maja Marković with original score composed by Luka Major. Shortly after its publication, the collection of short stories under the title of My Husband drew a great deal of attention among both critics and readers alike.
