The 2024-2025 season closes on Sunday June 22nd with the performance of Henrik Ibsen’s play Hedda Gabler, directed by Iva Milošević, on the “Ljuba Tadić” Main Stage. The new season opens as early as August, when the plays Man’s Teardrop in the style of A. P. Chekhov, directed by Aleksandar Popovski, and Dušan Kovačević’s St. George Slays the Dragon, directed by Milan Nešković, will participate in the “Purgatories” Mediterranean Theater Festival held in Tivat.
The first premiere in the 2025-2026 season will be the stage adaption of Oscar Wilde’s novel The Picture of Dorian Gray, directed by Nataša Radulović. Rehearsals began in mid-June. The cast features Joakim Tasić, Srđan Timarov, Teodor Vinčić, Vesna Čipčić, Jana Nenadović and Stefan Jevtović. Nataša Radulović is the dramaturge, Jasmina Holbus – the set designer, Biljana Grgur – the costume designer, Ana Krstajić – the composer; Marta Bjelica will give shape to the stage movement and Ljiljana Mrkić Popović will shape the stage speech. The premiere is scheduled for October.
