The play Michael Kohlhaas by Heinrich von Kleist, directed by Boris Liješević, will be performed at the International Theatre Encounters in Brčko (Bosnia and Herzegovina) on Tuesday, 21st October.
Michael Kohlhaas is a story about a man who believes in justice and the system that will protect a conscientious and peaceful individual. His faith is broken. The desire for justice is mocked and humiliated, and he who is seeking it is punished and removed. He becomes nobody.
This year’s 42nd International Theatre Encounters will be held from 16th to 24th October. A total of eight plays will be performed at the Festival as part of the competition.
