Mirko Ilić’s illustrations for the posters of Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen, directed by Iva Milošević, and Eldorado by Marius von Mayenburg, directed by Veljko Mićunović, have been selected by the jury of the prestigious American design magazine American Illustration as among the world’s best in the past year. This renowned publication received as many as 6,387 entries for its 45th edition.
Illustrations created by Mirko Ilić for Yugoslav Drama Theatre posters have also been featured in several previous editions of American Illustration.
