The opening of An Incident at the Border, by Kieran Lynn, directed by Stefan Gajić is scheduled for Saturday, 25th November at 8.30pm on our Studio YDT stage.
The play by the British playwright Kieran Lynn is a sharp modern satire exploring a phenomenon of real life and imaginary borders and of the consequences we are likely to suffer if we ever cross them. The text strikes a subtle balance half way between Ionesco and Kafka and An Incident at the Border begins as a funny, if slightly “wacky”, situation comedy which slowly turns into an absurd nightmare.
The cast includes Mina Obradović, Dragan Petrović and Vukašin Jovanović. Translated from English by Vesna Radovanović. Set design by Marta Dogan, costume design by Biljana Grgur, original music composed by Ana Krstajić with Đorđe Marković in charge of speech coaching.
Director Stefan Gajić penned the lyrics of the song I’m Leaving (Odlazim), set to music by Ana Krstajić.
