Rehearsals began today at the Yugoslav Drama Theatre of The Development Path of Bora Šnajder by Aleksandar Popović, directed by Egon Savin.
The cast includes Nenad Jezdić, Radovan Vujović, Tamara Dragičević, Branislav Lečić, Nebojša Milovanović, Milica Gojković, Irfan Mensur, Branka Šelić, Lazar Đukić, Janko Cekić and Ognjen Nikola Radulović. Dramaturgy by Božo Koprivica, set design by Egon Savin, costume design by Lana Cvijanović, stage movement by Sonja Vukićević with Ljiljana Mrkić Popović in charge of speech coaching.
The Development Path of Bora Šnajder by Aleksandar Popović premièred in 1967. That same year, Popović received the Sterijino Pozorje award for best modern drama (at the time the festival bore the name of Yugoslav Theatre Festival)
The Development Path of Bora Šnajder was the critics’ choice for the best play in the Serbian language among a total of 710 plays written between 1944 – 1993.
This production is scheduled to open in early March 2023 on our Ljuba Tadić stage.
