The opening night of Oedipus by Sophocles, directed by Vito Taufer, is scheduled for Saturday, 17th September at 8 pm on our Ljuba Tadić stage.
In the tragedy of Oedipus, son of a Theban king, who was foretold would kill his own father and marry his mother, the title role has been entrusted to Milan Marić. The rest of the cast includes Nataša Ninković, Srđan Timarov, Bojan Dimitrijević, Aleksandar Đurica, Miloš Samolov, Nebojša Ljubišić, Zoran Cvijanović and Joakim Tasić. Text adaptation by Vesna Radovanović and Marko Manojlović, dramaturgy by Vesna Radovanović, set design by Lazar Bodroža, costume design by Marija Marković Milojev, original score by Robert Pešut – Magnifico and Aleksander Pešut – Schatz! with Ljiljana Mrkić Popović in charge of voice coaching.
Additional performances are scheduled for Sunday 18th, Tuesday 20th and Friday 30th September.
