This year’s lifetime achievement award Dobričin Prsten, awarded by the Drama Artists’ Association of Serbia, went posthumously to Milan Gutović (1946-2021) and was received today by his family members at a ceremony held at the Yugoslav Drama Theatre. Gutović was a member of the YDT ensemble for a number of years and the last production he appeared in was The Travelling Troupe Šopalović which opened in March 2020.
The award is comprised of a gold copy of the ring that belonged to Dobrica Milutinović (made by Zlatara Jokić goldsmiths from Belgrade) and a hand painted diploma on parchment (designed by painter and set designer Geroslav Zarić) and was presented to Milan Gutović’s children, Milica, Nevena, Spasoje and Janko by the last year’s recipient Petar Božović.
Gutović is 34th recipient of the Dobričin Prsten award.
