A guest performance of The Travelling Troupe Šopalović by Ljubomir Simović, directed by Jagoš Marković, took place on Saturday, 28th October at the Slovene National Theatre Drama in Maribor.
The auditorium with 844 seats was filled to the last seat.
The audience hung on every word of the particularly inspired ensemble and at times “interrupted” the performance with gales of laughter and applause. The cast including Dragan Bjelogrlić, Jasna Đuričić, Nenad Jezdić, Anita Mančić, Branko Vidaković, Marko Janketić, Jovana Belović, Sanja Marković, Irfan Mensur, Miloš Samolov, Milica Sužnjević, Miona Marković, Neda Šutvić, Vanja Radivojević, Nađa Ristić and Ana Lečić received a five minute standing ovation.
The performance was also attended by colleagues from the SNT, many of whom took part in our co-production of I Saw Her That Night, among them leading actress Nataša Matjašec Rošker and director Janez Pipan, followed by Slobodan Unkovski, Aleksandar Popovski, Danilo Rošker, director of SNT in Maribor…
