The annual assembly of the Union of European Theatres (UTE) was held last weekend in Porto (Portugal) where Gabor Tompa was re-elected as the Union president. In addition to selecting the president, at the assembly the UTE members also elected the members of the board of directors. The general manager of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre Tamara Vučković Manojlović was re-elected as member of the board of directors. This is her second term of office.
Activities and new projects of member theatres were discussed during the assembly, but also joint plans, cooperation and co-productions.
During the time in Porto, a guest performance of a YDT production at Teatro di Roma in Rome was agreed.
