
Today marked the celebration of Yugoslav Drama Theatre Day. At a ceremony attended by members of the ensemble, guest artists, associates, and friends of the house, the Annual Awards were presented.
Jovana Belović received the Annual Award for her portrayal of Mrs. Hedda Tesman in Henrik Ibsen’s play Hedda Gabler, directed by Iva Milošević, while Nebojša Milovanović was honored for his role as Judge Brak in the same play.
The Annual Award for the roles of the Chorister and Adrian Singleton in Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray, directed by Nataša Radulović, went to Teodor Vinčić, while Vesna Čipčić was awarded for her portrayals of the Chorister and Lady Narborough in the same play. The Yugoslav Drama Theatre Annual Award for Original Score in The Picture of Dorian Gray was presented to Ana Krstajić, and Biljana Grgur received the Award for Costume Design for the same prodiction.
Vito Taufer was honored with the Annual Award for Directing Branislav Nušić’s play The People’s Deputy (Narodni poslanik). For their roles as Jevrem Prokić and Spirinica in The People’s Deputy, Annual Awards were presented to Dragan Mićanović and Nataša Ninković.
Srđan Timarov received both an Annual Award and the “Dr. Branivoj Đorđević” Award for Excellence in Diction for his portrayal of Sreta in The People’s Deputy.
The “Nebojša Glogovac” Award for outstanding artistic creation by a young actor was presented to Marta Bogosavljević for her role as Danica in The People’s Deputy This award was established in 2021 by the Yugoslav Drama Theatre in cooperation with the City of Belgrade.
Annual Awards for exceptional contribution to the high professional standards of our theatre were presented to: Bojan Simić, Stage Master, Snežana Marković, Property Mistress, Dragan Arsenić, Lighting Designer, Snežana Marković, Dresser, Tamara Đurović and Branislava Radovanović, Stage Mask Creators.
A Yugoslav Drama Theatre Certificate of Merit for 20 years of successful cooperation and support was awarded to Raiffeisen Bank.
