Sanja Markovic

Studied acting at the Faculty of Dramatic Art in Belgrade under the mentorship of prof. Srđan Karanović. Member of Yugoslav Drama Theatre ensemble since 2022.

AWARDS: YDT Annual Award 2023, Ljubinka Bobić Award, best young actress award at the Student Festival in Craiova (2017), Vršac Theatre Autumn Festival (2018) and at the Joakim Vujić professional theatre festival (2019); recipient of the Ardalion award for best supporting role (2021), Special Award at the Two-Hander Theatre Festival in Topola (together with Jovana Belović, 2021) and the best actress award at the Zaplet 13 International Festival (together with Jovana Belović, 2021), Special Partnership Award (together with Jovana Belović) at the International Small Scenes Theatre Festival in Rijeka and the Mediteran Award awarded by Novi List (2022), Sterijino Pozorje best actress award and the Zoran Radmilović award for best acting bravura (2022), best actor award at the Purgatorije theatre festival in Tivat (2022).
