Yesterday, the news of your departure, like some apocalypse, made time grind to a halt for a while and shook the reality in each one of us to the core.
You used to say that time flows differently in the theatre, that it is measured differently there. This theatre time of yours will continue to flow through the productions that you directed, through the performances of your actors and all those on and off stage whom you always cared about … and with your audiences who have loved you and will continue to love you and your work.
Theatre was your life, your actors and your audiences were your passion.
All of us in our and your Yugoslav Drama Theatre will keep you in our thoughts and we shall bring reality to a standstill and the productions you directed will carry on, like one long goodbye, dear Jagoš, in one singular moment of theatre without end.
