After a performance of Oedipus at the MITEM Festival in Budapest (12th October) and the participation of The Loser at the Dimitria Festival in Thessaloniki (2nd October) and at the ZAPLET 15 International Theatre Festival in Banja Luka (23rd October), the Yugoslav Drama Theatre is readying for another guest performance on 28th October in Slovenia.  The Travelling Troupe Šopalović by Ljubomir Simović, directed by Jagoš Marković, will be performed at the Slovene National Theatre Drama in Maribor.

The cast of The Travelling Troupe Šopalović includes Dragan Bjelogrlić, Jasna Đuričić, Nenad Jezdić, Anita Mančić, Branko Vidaković, Marko Janketić, Jovana Belović, Sanja Marković, Irfan Mensur, Miloš Samolov, Milica Sužnjević, Miona Marković, Neda Šutvić, Vanja Radivojević, Nađa Ristić and Ana Lečić. This production also had a guest performance in May, 2022 at the  Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. The year before it was performed at 25th Yugoslav Theatre Festival at Užice where it received the audience award for best production while the jury of the festival awarded the best supporting actress award to Sanja Marković.

The co-production between the Yugoslav Drama Theatre, the Slovene National Theatre Maribor, Burgtheater Vienna and Cankarjev Dom Ljubljana – I Saw Her That Night by Drago Jančar, directed by Janez Pipan, opened on 24th September at the Slovene National Theatre in Maribor followed by a performance on the Ljuba Tadić stage of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre on 4th November that same year. In addition to Austrian and Slovene actors, the cast was joined by members of the YDT ensemble Milan Marić and Nebojša Ljubišić.

A guest performance of a Slovene National Theatre production is scheduled for next year at the Yugoslav Drama Theatre.
