Raiffeisen bank is this year’s recipient of the VIRTUS award for long-term partnership of the business and non-profit sector as a result of its long-term partnership with the Yugoslav Drama Theatre. The award was presented by the Trag Foundation at the virtual ceremony held on Thursday, 13th May.

The VIRTUS Philanthropy award was established in 2007 as a reference point and encouragement for the representatives of the business sector as well as individuals who, through their philanthropic activities, are making a long-term contribution to the development of the communities where they live and work.

The partnership between Raiffeisen Bank and YDT is an excellent example of a successful cooperation between the business and non-profit sector resulting in far reaching benefits for the community, where those who benefit the most are ordinary citizens – those who appreciate theatre of the highest quality.

Whith a keen eye for cooperation with cultural institutions and without an overt goal to promote its own brand, except in joint activities, Raiffeisen bank helps improve the work of its partners who, due to having small or insufficient budgets, are often unable to implement certain projects and ideas. Over the last 16 years of successful partnership between RFB and YDT, we have implemented a number of joint activities such as ART REDUCTION to mark the 10th anniversary of our successful cooperation. That same year, Raiffeisen bank became a recipient of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre Annual Award.
