100th PERFORMANCE OF THE PLAY THE GLASS NECK

The play The Glass Neck, based on the text by Biljana Srbljanović, directed by Jagoš Marković, will have its 100th performance on the “Ljuba Tadić” Main Stage on Friday, January 9th.

The play, which was premiered on 5th October 2018, features Jelisaveta Sablić, Vesna Trivalić, Dragan Mićanović, Anita Mančić, Irfan Mensur, Marko Janketić, Milica Gojković, Miloš Samolov, Slobodan Tešić, Lazar Đukić and Ana Radović.

The play The Glass Neck was a guest performance at the Gavella Theatre in Zagreb (2018), was performed at the International Small Scene Theatre Festival in Rijeka (2019), the “Without Translation” Yugoslav Theatre Festival in Užice (2019), the “Milivoje Živanović” Actors’ Festival in Požarevac (2019), and the “Jagoš Marković Days” at the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska (2024). It was also performed out of competition on the closing night of the Mediterranean Theatre Festival – Purgatories at the Cultural Center of Tivat (2019).

The play received two “Veljko Maričić” Awards at the International Small Scene Theatre Festival in Rijeka, namely Dragan Mićanović was awarded for the best actor, and Vesna Trivalić won the award for the best supporting actress. Jelisaveta Sablić won the award at the “Milivoje Živanović” Actors’ Festival in Požarevac.
