We take this opportunity to announce that the presentation of the international YOU PERFORM project will be made available on-line. YDT has been taking part in the project together with Thalia Theatre from Hamburg and another six European theatres from Germany, The Netherlands, France and Hungary. The aim of the project is to provide education for young people in theatre and performance at the end of which the participants are asked to produce a short performance of their own creation on the topic and method of expression of their own choosing with the help from theatre professionals. The project has been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The participants’ meeting had been scheduled for today in Hamburg at Thalia Theatre where they were to present their performances and take part in educational workshops. Instead, today at 6pm you will have an opportunity to get to know the participants from these five countries and the cities they come from as well as partner theatres in the project. The presentation will include our group of participants with their supervisors and pedagogues – theatre director Jovana Tomić and choreographer Igor Koruga. The rehearsals held at YDT and performance training were interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic and we are all looking forward to the continuation of the project.
