The 50th performance of Offing by Branislav Nušić, directed by Egon Savin, is scheduled for Monday, 20th January.
The production first opened on 10th April, 2021 on the Ljuba Tadić main stage of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre with a cast including Nenad Jezdić, Sloboda Mićalović, Ljubomir Bandović, Vesna Stanković, Nebojša Milovanović, Bojan Dimitrijević, Cvijeta Mesić, Iva Manojlović, Janko Cekić, Goran Šušljik, Maja Kolundžija Zoroe and Bogdana Obradović.
This is a melodrama about an ambitious young woman who got married for love to a man with too few professional and life ambitions. The production has taken part in the Nušićevi Dani theatre festival in Smederevo, Borini Pozorišni Dani theatre festival in Vranje, the Ohrid Summer theatre festival in North Macedonia and in the Without Translation festival of Yugoslav Theatre in Užice where it received three awards. The Ardalion award for best direction went to Egon Savin, the Ardalion for best male actor went to Nenad Jezdić and the Ardalion for best costume design went to Lana Cvijanović.
